Opening Acts

WHAT: A pre-VMworld US panel session learning opportunity

WHY: Learn from your peers about several different technical topics

WHERE: Liberty Loft, in New York, New York Hotel & Casino

WHO: VMworld attendees who are interested in an independent learning opportunity

WHEN: August 28th, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

HOW: Just let us know you’re coming (no cost unless you want vBrisket Lunch)

Opening Acts is a joint production between VMunderground and vBrownBag. We provide panel-based discussions prior to VMworld US to give community members the ability to meet and great each other, while also warming up their brains in preparation for the massive amount of learning to come.

After two good years of success running two panel stages concurrently to provide 3 hours with 6 sessions.  One common complaint we’ve received: “Why do you make me choose between all these great panels?!”  For 2016, we’re going to run 4 panel sessions sequentially.  Show up for the entire time, and you’ll catch all the panely-goodness.  We’re also working with the vBrisket crew to offer BBQ in addition to all the technical knowledge!

Here’s the schedule and panelists for Opening Acts on Sunday, August 28, 2016:

Careers (11am)

New Age / Next Gen IT (12pm)

vBrisket Lunch (1pm)

Storage & Hyper-converged (2pm)

Automation/Orchestration/DevOps (3pm)

See you in Las Vegas!
